Hi people :)

Is there any way to have the original registration date of a domain not show in the whois? Or to update it as such?

If I transfer the domain, the original registration date still shows, right?

Hi

1. the only way to change original date, is to let it expire, then be deleted, then re-registered it....
and it will have the date re registered, as new creation date.
otherwise, no you cannot change it or edit it, so it won't be seen.

2. yes

imo...

Thanks Biggie, so would it work if I cancel the registration and drop-catch it?

And would that take a while for the registration to cancel do you know?

Hi

I don't know exactly what you're trying to do.

1. if you have already registered the domain, then why is the "creation date" so important to change, disguise or hide?
2. if you are able to cancel or delete the registration, then there is always chance someone else could "catch" it, or re-register it, before you.

so to me, there is no logical rationale for what you're attempting.

imo...

What?? Why is somebody even thinking about this? Unless you want to scam other people by trying to sell it as a older domain?

Hi. I had previously intended to do this but did not execute it. But here it is explained that we can privatize the information

Have a good time!
