Some types of TLDs and domains are considedered to be easiest to sell in specific marketplaces. For example; Flippa is good for tech domains and .io-domains. Godaddy is good for LLL .com.

What other types of domains are suitable for which marketplaces? I do understand that this is highly individual but are there any experienced domain brokes that could share some info?

Thanks!

difference is cost

flip charges listing fee's, before the sale, success fee after may apply as well

gd charges commission fee, after the sale

other note

.io is on a hype roll, just like .me .mobi. pw.asia .eu etc etc

LLL.com sell everywhere, not just gd

marketplaces do not sell domains.... domains, depending on the specific name, may sell themselves without being listed on any particular venue.
or the inquiry may come thru email or phone, even if listed in a variety of marketplaces.

imo.......

i would never say a markeplace is good for a type of domains but not good for others. for exapmle- some marketplaces may not support all extensions especially the newest ones or all cctld's so a particular extension may sell on x marketplace just because marketplace y does not accept listings for that. so you should look at that in a different way imo.

what is true is that some market places are better for low end domains and others better for high end. sedo sells many expensive names as they got the buyer base all over the world. if you got inexpensive names you might as well stick with gd and some others as sedo's costs will not make sense for those. bido has a different model, flippa has very high listing fees, and so forth.
