Hey!
Where can I get some kind of free DNS server which I can point to my IP adress and I can enter into my eNom setting, so I can host my site from my comp?

if you have a static ip i think you could specify a nameserver on your domain through the enom options and point it to your ip address.

not sure how you would handle the secondary nameserver though...

It's all in your eNOM account control panel  Play with it for a while, and you'ld quickly get the hang of things. :)

You must have two NameServers listed for it to be valid.

http://www.hiphopdomains.com/images/enom.doc

i pasted a screen shot into this word document (its the only program i have to save screenshots)

this is where you create nameservers on your enom domain.

you still need to overcome the 2nd nameserver but hope this helps some

well, there's always zoneedit.com. Their service will allow you use their DNS servers, and they will point to your home server whether the IP is static or dynamically assigned.

Or nose around at http://www.MyDomain.com - offering some of the best FREE services on the net. Until we grew into our own servers, we used them for several hundred sites by "stealth" -ing the domains to ONE hosting account that held the folder for each site.

Change your domain to their nameservers, then 'stealth' the URL to your site files.

Although this can be done through enom (they call it masking) it would eliminate the 2nd IP problem.

email me at: [email protected] if you'd like more info.

Good luck!
