How would we be able to add cheats and customizations to the script (headers, footers etc..)?

The script is not encoded so you can basically change everything. There is also a header.php and a footer.php to integrate it into your design. To add/edit/remove cheats you can use phpmyadmin or you could simply add a "submit a cheat" page inserting new cheats to the database.
