There's not a whole lot of info on hitfarm posted. I signed up a few weeks ago and have been testing out several domains. I'm not very impressed. Only one domain seems to have had an increase in revenue. It was by over 300% but the other 10 or so are all less than they were earning elsewhere. CTR is decent, but the payout per click is under 10 cents.

Anyone have any tips on what converts well at Hitfarm?

if you have quality traffic then you can expect your domains to convert well just about everywhere you take them... hitfarm is a good ppc because it has a great relationship with overture and the payouts for certain traffic (keywords/terms) is much better then google. their whole system is also one of the best if not the best all around... very easy to work with!

untargeted/unknown traffic is hard to work with let alone pull in decent cpc/ctr.

Buyout.com,

mike031 has pretty much answered your question. We monetize really well for quality names, but, as with any PPC Provider, it is difficult to convert untargeted, unknown traffic.

We can better optimise untargeted, unknown traffic for our clients by placing high bid keywords which may not be relevant to the user, but this is not our practice.

Buyout.com, if you know of relevant keywords that would help to better optimise your names, you have the interface available to submit your requests. Upon review if they are valid we will certainly submit those.

Is there any site that allows small domainers to park with Hitfarm, like Afternic parks for DS and Fab?

Hello all,

Great to see your level of interest in Hitfarm.

Just for the record, Traffic Club does not have any affiliation with Hitfarm. The usual route to becoming a Hitfarm client is to be individually reviewed and approved by us.

just logged in to my trafficclub.com account and saw that the "hitfarm" option is indeed no longer there... guess that parternship or whatever it was never came to be.

sorry for the confusion'

Since a lot of us don't have the 10k, I'm looking for a partner program like TC, that uses your services, unless you are willing to accept small accounts.

Hi Gord (& Don),

Are you the new guy helping out Don over there? :) I just wanted to say hello and add a few things...

I have found that most of my "sneaker" domains perform better at Sedo, while the other 6/7 of my portfolio performs better at HitFarm. I have yet to test out the "one click" version at HF on the sneaker domains though. A few others domains in our portfolio in such categories as Casino, Pharmacy and Adult -- Fabulous is the choice. These are the only PPC's I have experience with thus far. I have yet to try other PPCs such as ParkingSite, GoldKey and TrafficClub.

I would like to add that the service at HitFarm is superb, at Sedo OK. At Fabulous, they have great support as well. For the 6/7 majority of my domain portfolio parked at HitFarm, it performs rather nicely month after month. I have seen an increase in revenues steadily as HF self optimizes the landing pages. From my experience thus far, I would have to vote HF as the TOP PPC out there from the ones I have utilized. They have my endorsement 100%. As I am constantly learning about PPC and different ways to optimize domain revenues, I just wanted to share my experiences with the ones that I have used.

If anyone is interested in signing up with HitFarm, I have included my affiliate referral link to the signup page in my signature. Gord, correct me if I am mistaken, but isn't the minimum requirement for HF 500 daily unique visitors for one's domain portfolio?

Best Regards,

Roy

Hi Roy, mike031 and fab,

Hope you are all doing well.

Roy, thank you very much for the kind words and excellent endorsement. While optimization is what sets us apart, it is very satisfying for us to know that the "human touch" we try to put into our work has not gone unnoticed.

mike031, no problem at all and no confusion. Glad to see domain portfolio holders discussing and taking an interest in our service.

fab, we do not object to having smaller clients and do, in fact, have several parked with us. What Hitfarm does strive to do is maintain a very high level of service for, and a great relationship with, our clients. Growing too quickly would jeopardise this goal. Therefore, we have put in place the 10K limit (to also address your question Roy) as to not lose sight of this vision.

To address the issue further, many of the smaller portfolios that are parked with us have come on board because they have one or two great domains that may not generate the minimum requirement, but we view them as no less valuable. Other smaller portfolio holders have become clients through special invitation, or by being referred to us by an existing Hitfarm.com client.

If anyone has any further questions/comments/concerns, please feel free to e-mail me at gcaines@hitfarm.com and I'll address them.
