I just registered http://www.Backlinkedu.com two days ago. Its currently parked on Sedo. I re-directed traffic for 24 hours to a Clickbank .EDU URL. Didn't get any sales.
I don't know why anyone would let this domain expire / drop. (http://www.serverinsiders.com/domain/backlinkedu-com.html). Monthly Google searches is 500K for "Backlink EDU". I need someone who can tell me what the traffic is looking for and develop a Wordpress site targeted to the traffic. I'm not so sure the traffic is looking for .EDU backlinks. I'm only getting abt 4% CTR at SEdo.
Please have links to sites you've built.
