Hi!

Let's say you own the name [COMPANYNAME].COM - then how much you will sell this domain to another company which have a similar domain such as [COMPANYNAME]inc.com or [COMPANYNAME]LLC.com

Another question: Is there a tool out there to help you find all the domain that contain a specific keyword. For example I type in keyword "forum", the tool will return all domains that have "forum" in it (dnforum, webforum, forum4u....)

Thanks

1. Be careful with TM names
2. Depending on the size of the Company. One with 20 employees is different from one with 20,000 employees
3. No one can tell the price. If they are not interested in the name then it has no value and many times you will be in trouble if they sue.

Whether they are contacting you about it or you are contacting them makes a difference. The other thing is how generic is the company name? For instance mrssmith could be a old lady with a knitting blog, but Microsoft probably couldn't deniably be something else unrelated. So, if they are contacting you and it's totally logical that it could be something else then higher $$ depending on the size of the company. Not contacting you or too specific, take what you can get that keeps everyone happy.
