No doberry. Some people don't like transient popular names like 3g names or wap names because of the absurd names people come up with. Some Tend to extend this attitude even to the more sensible root names.
My thinking was that it would be more valuable as a .net because of the 3g network thing. With the .net extension making the most sense. But .com being the type in king would be best if you could get that. I'm thinking I'll try and sell it on ebay when 3g technology gets a little more buzz happening. If it gets more buzz happening. Honestly, I don't think it is a great name by any means.
Even if their was a 4g technology, it would probably be called something else. 3G works well cause it rhymes. In any case, any particular technology name could be worth something even if the technology was old and supplanted by new technology. Thiongs have value for different reasons.
I just like it cause its a buzz phrase. Maybe its worthless. But I don't regret registering it. I've seen much worse posted here!
I think you are getting typeins because the .net and the hyphenated version appear to be developed so you are probably getting error typeins. Shows you the power of .com
I once owned one very similar to this, perhaps even better ... and in the .NET. My suggestion, allow yours to lapse and potentially lose when and if "3G" ever takes off (or is at least around enough time before "4G", etc.). So, keep the thing for nominal cost ... and do yourself one HUGE favor; market the thing overseas, namely Europe. Today!
Good Luck,
Meg
