Only problem is the next bid increment is $9,000 so in the process of getting greedy a person that might pay $8,000 doesn't bid and therefore a person willing to pay $9,000 does counter bid.

Not a bad price IMO, to a big book retailer 7k is nothing. Consider the the OVT result... not many names with 3 mil + OVT.

Just goes to show .biz prices are on the rise.

...i think people are getting in the auction fever, that's why on auction the prices go so high - if you look at the domains for sale section in this forum - i have many .biz names (very much like the ones on this pool list [Quality & price] - and they are not selling...

I've never seen book.biz, golf.biz, news.biz for sale on this forum. I contacted the owner of a few of .biz domains which were going to drop (as did a few other people). They ended up renewing them then found the forums and attempted to sell them without very much success at all. I would have paid auction prices for them but his personal email quotes were 5 figures (taught me a lesson). So therefore $7K+ is quite a bargain in this instance and a reason why people are willing to pay for this tier-1 name.

Most of the users on this forum are not buyers but sellers looking to make a quick buck. It's kind of like a party where there are all males (aka sausage party). In the end basically no one gets laid except for a select few. arty: :-#:

i pmed you a long list with .biz names including Tool.biz for a lot less than $ 7000 but i have not gotten a pm back - i was hoping with all the work i did getting this list together that you at least response to you pm .. with something like : no thanx..
if book.biz brings $x,xxx and i offer an even better name for less , i don't quite understand it...

tool.biz I think is better for these reasons:

tool.com overture is 1289 tools.com is 1407

book.com overture is 1475 books.com is 9200

nowhere near the same based on the comparison between term/terms, which would lead me to believe books is much more searched than book, while tools and tool are almost equally searched.

however book/books has 3 million + overture, while tool/tools has 300 000

plus tool bids on overture exceed bids for book
