Buy A Trademark For A Name Or Hope It Will Expire?

Hello i'm after a trademark that is registered in EU.
I can buy the .com for a reasonable price, the only thing is the ™.
I was registered in 1987. It says register office, US, Wipo, 1 other country plus 2 asian. I can't understand the letters but i assume it was their word mark.
All of the other ™ have expired only the Wipo office is left and it owned by a Trust now. What are my best options here. it says it expires in 2017. Wait, contact the trust and ask if it is for sale or?
There are no websites about the name so i don't think it's in commerce atm.

Not quite sure if even buying the tm would grandfather any rights to the .com (or any TLD). You need to contact an attorney on the subject.

The trust does not reply so i have to wait and see. i'm actually after both if that's possible. It's just that i have never owned a tm before so...
