I need help from the member community. I have reported this to the mod and adam as well.

my sale thread for typo barbirgirl.com offered the name for sale as below stating $40 per month CURRENT income as was in my Bodis account.

A sale is a sale, you're right, but regardless of how I optimize the domain, ctr is nowhere near the figures you achieved - it's better if you monetize the domain rather than wasting the traffic.

You sold the domain as "making 40$ a month":

I always leave honest feedback for my purchases, and I will make no exception here.
"Domain does not perform as promised - my worst purchase on dnf" seems appropriate, if you really don't want to buy it back now.

I am willing to pay $50 for your trouble, which I think is a very fair offer.

http://www.dnforum.com/f116/40-per-month-current-income-barbirgirl-com-thread-250287.html

Buyer TYPIST and I came to an agreed upon price of $625 where I offered the buyer a buy back guarantee after 1 year for his peace of mind as well as offered him to keep any and all PPC income if not satisfied.

Buyer TYPIST takes adantage of my courtesy and begins to harass me stating domain is not performing as promised. First of all I did not promise him anything. No one can.

Then he wants his money back per the guarantee. I said ok, I wiill per terms of the sale which is after 1 year. He then files a false claim with Paypal saying he did not get his ITEM, screen shot below.

Now he thretens me saying I don't have snowballs chance of getting my money back.

This is not fair and something needs be done. I sold another typo today and none of my sales had an issue bar one.

I sold the name in good faith per existing stats. I did not claim future income or promise him anything other than the conditions by which I am still abiding.

Am tire d of this buyers lies. Please help...

Re: $40 Per Month Current Income Barbirgirl.Com
you took advantage of my 1 whole year buy back offer. i did not promise you day to day or future income. no one does that.

you forfeit the right to my buy back offer. i have filed a counter claim to your unjustified dispute which is a FRADULENT claim. domain was transferred and i shall make this case public for harassment on your part.

I am now in negative in my Paypal. I did not agree to refund his name in 1 week. There is no reason to.

below is screen shot of transfer and paypal dispute

I hope you can sort out your problems amicably without posting each other's private info on a public board like DNF.

Please try to settle the dispute via PM or email first.
Also, please edit and remove any personal information.

Thanks,

typist is a nice chap, I don't know if this is the whole story behind this, not that I want to get involved in this but maybe you should resolve this in private and come out public only when you have exhausted all other means

how would you know?

Speculative statements about a deal you know nothing about will not help.

ditto here... Typist is very professional and nice guy to deal with. I'm not surprised the deal went sour, especially on worthless typos parked @ bodis LOL..

mcgrace - I hope you learnt your lesson, when you offer buyback guarantee you learn to honor it....

Some good moderation by John lately. Stepping in and taking action where necessary over a few threads I've looked at today. Good to see. (Comment in passing). BTW, there's nowt wrong with Typist.

I think that with ongoing disputes there is nothing wrong with presenting the facts, even if that involves screenshots of transactions. We're not posting his home address on Google Earth for Christ's sake!

John, this is for you because you were quick to edit out the screenshot in that other thread, and yet that person, movingconcierge, is violating a forum rule by attacking me in his signature.

That's what I mean about maintaining "equilibrium". If you cannot be fair, close the thread, preserve the facts and deliver a decision later.

hi mourolis
yes, i am honoring my guarantee. now typist is taking advantage of my generous offer.

i stated domain names $40 currently. i did not promise future earnings anywhere. find me one thread that does that.

i offered a buy back AFTER 1 WHOLE year as per pm. not after 1 week. i wanted to make sure buyer does not lose his investment but he is taking advantage of me now. i even offered him to keep all pcc rv until then.

typist may be a nice guy but not NICE after all. making false blatant dispute with paypal, taking my funds away and harassment is NOT NICE.

TYPIST, I tried to settle amicable, but you will stick to your false assumption that i promised you earnings. i never did. no one does.

please return my funds and let me stick to honor my conditions.

i saw a screenshot where you had the domain under your "name"
and in the next screenshot i saw a dispute you put on paypal saying that item=domain is not received.
I never commented buy back guarantee and stuff.

Right off the bat who the hell offers such a thing and especially for a $40 a month name ?

If I sale an operating business making $50k a year, guarantee it and the new owner steps in, management, product costs, the whole bloody industry ( PPC REV ) changes slightly to drastically and earnings are now just $30k a year does this mean the store didnt earn me $50K and I need to honor the fact they are bad managers, operators or be held respondsible for an industry shift ?

I have seen such deals made but the variables are so bloody vast the paper work so thick and the real guarantee not based solely a profit number alone but on ratios etc.

Bottom line, no one in their right mind would guarantee a domains rev. unless for a VERY short time. I haven't even touched on the implications of bad faith use etc.

Buyer is confusing 2 issues to state his case and take advantage of me.

I did NOT offer any guarantee for revenues. I provided guarantee of a buy back at original sale price after 1 year. I clearly stated in my PM, after 1 whole year. Buyer knew that. I was not proposing this from a position of weakness. I was offering the buyer peace of mind. Instead he takes advantage of me.

I merely provided stats as was available to me, buyer and anyone else. I offered a buy back name after 1 year to cover buyers investment if he chose to. Am I missing something.

Please be impartial. This is about fairness. That's all.

TheLegendaryJP, is right on what i wanted to say.
In my part do the best i can to guide them so they can keep the same revenue or to make even more.
In fact one of my last sales at np (for 8 monts rev) under my advices the buyer had a revenue increase from $3 per day to $5-$6.
I love to help people that buy my domains but i hate reading stories like these.

End of posting for me in this topic. :)

I did NOT offer any guarantee for revenues. I provided guarantee of a buy back at original sale price after 1 year. .

I see, can you post a PM stating this exactly and Typist agreeing to this ?

btw, rev. or one year buy back, still a very bad business model. I can buy from you $$$$$$ in names, earn the rev over the course of the year ( get to keep it as stated by you ) and hit you up for a totel refund at the end. Not a new point of discussion just an observation. As a buyer I still would feel uneasy about such a deal as I may not get refunded, what if you die, vanish, take off etc. Hey everyone has their angle I guess.

The reason we show stats is to back up our claims, provide peace of mind to the buyer and show their risk is limited ( not on word alone ) . But all buyers of rev. names KNOW they are taking a risk, depending on the name itself small to large. Price is set accordingly and we do biz.

Seems to be a misunderstanding that could be resolved together by two apparently reasonable people. If I were you I would ask for the thread to be closed and just come to some arrangement. I don't see any intentional deception here.

i would under normal circumstance not post private pm's but this is the only way i can show what a scammer typist is...

keep in mind, my overture for a buy back offer was out of goodness AFTER THE SALE WAS COMPLETED and was not a preset condition to sale on the thread. Now he finds that he taken take advantage of my goodness by TWISTING the facts and lying to Paypal.

Read every word carefully.

http://img216.imageshack.us/my.php?image=matthias3hx3.jpg

Case closed. If all buyers file a dispute no one can do business in this forum. Can anyone put yourself in my shoes?

If not I will wash my hands defending anyone on this forum for any wrongdoing.

This thread stays open till I get my rightful money back. This is not just intentional deception, this is THEFT.
