I picked this up the other night with all the hoopla going on here about the cloned baby. The .com and .org were taken, so I grabbed this. Do you think it's worth anything? I also have CoolDNA.com does this one have any value now that cloning is in the news?

it's what I call a CNN domain - I register some of them myself.

Never got a $ for any of mine - but when/IF the clone baby is shown - and lives - you'll get $100 for the domain min :)

Hold out... it's a great .net catch... would make for a great "network" forum related to the "clone" issue.. and

CLONE AID

IS THE NAME OF THE ORGANIZATION WHICH CLAIMS THE FAME OF THE NEW BABY "eve"...

it's the hottest topic outside of the iraq headlines..

Nice catch.. goodluck.

well, they are all misspells also... but this name

CLONE AID, is the ACTUAL name of THE organization that claims the fame of baby 'eve' born on Dec. 26th 2002... so, it may have some worth..

Ha,ha, thanks TexasFilly.
Even worse, I have checked Google with those terms before
posting and all have had results.
Even Overture showed 393 results for "human clonning".
Shame on me.

Hm, only 42 Overture searches for "cloneaid". Besides a TM issue is
always possible.

EmbryonicCloning.com to make the things up.

interesting! most likely those OT #'s will increase rapidly, since the big headlines just now coming out & CNN broadcasting / exposing the CLONE AID organization....

Those CLONE AID folks are "goofy" they actually believe that all humans were made through alien's that came to planet earth and used DNA from earthlings... it's a wild story behind the baby 'eve'... and personally, I'm not buying into all their silly 'yarn' about the alien DNA cloning, and personally, I don't believe cloning should be conducted.. but that's just my TexasTwoCents worth..

goodluck with the name!

"CloneAid.net winner or looser"

I think it's probably more toward the latter, though spelled as "loser". To me, it almost sounds like a fruit drink of some sort. And the ".NET", in my opinion, won't get any type-in's. Sorry. Good Luck.

I agree with CoolHost. But! on the other hand, if cloning becomes a mass market, I want stock in "CloneAid" Try to sell it to KoolAid.

Let's break this one down...

.NET -- not the worst you could do, but not all that valuable... it's not really something anyone just types in to try anymore.

CLONEAID -- Spelled wrong, and clearly infringing about the trademark of the company in question. A company that is being labeled as truly evil, thinks that humans were made in an alien genetic experiment, and has claimed that Dracula is alive and wants a clone.

CLONEAID.NET looks like a loser to me. Your best bet is to dump it to someone fast while hype is high and any potential buyers don't think about the real value of the name.
