Originally posted by domnet I was thinking about giving CollegeScholarship.org to a non-profit organization for tax purposes. Anyone got a good idea what this might be worth?
Good domain! I still like it even though it a .org. It gives more credibility than the .net. I would keep it, and as mentioned before, develop it into a site and run affilate programs.
great tax-deduction if in the US......
ask potential beneficiaries to pay for 2 appraisals from higly reputable companies to save face with IRS....
org better than net in this case....
I have to agree with "DON", a highly desireable name for the arenas for which the name implies, but if you are seeking a tax advantage in the donation of this name, you may want to seek professional advice, it's a gray area, don't make assumptions on your own.
Best of luck!
