A recent post commenting on how poor HTTP logs are from some hosting providers got me thinking ... Is anyone else using consolidated logs to extract keywords from their sites?
In the past I used Google Analytics to pull keywords, however, I found looking at keywords across networks of parked pages (even undeveloped pages) revealed interesting things about my visitors.
The problem I found is seeing all this information in one place. For example, I can pull a huge keyword list, but finding like keywords across sites is a manual process.
Right now I just load long tail lists into keyword management tools, Google Adsense (and other PPC), and analyze with pivot tables. Are there any keyword management tools which find dictionary matches and cross references?
Best,
Justin
