I have a few guys interested in this name (as broker), so, if it does not work out for one, I'll let the next guy know.

If I was you I will ask more $30,000 than $20,000. Remember that the US dollar have droped more than 30% last years so If you find a EU buyer you need to make him pay.

That makes sense, but I'm just asking what is it really worth, and what can a buyer, EU or US, expect to get as a ROI for the name. I would love 20-30, but I still don't know if it is worth that much to a buyer. Without a little research, I just would not know. I'm about to buy my first home, so this will really help me, and I would like it to be sold soon, to make a bigger payment on the place.

As for the US dollar, this last year I earned a 30-40% return on my IRA investments in international and real estate investments. Also right now I have some in oil stock, and that is doing well too.

Both are working on it. This is a non exclusive. If one sell it then he gets paid.

I don't understand exactly what 'brokering' means when the owner and the broker pitch the same domain to the same crowd. I mean, if I were interested I would contact the owner, not the broker.

The broker's job is to locate potential buyers using venues that are not available to the owner.

Yes RAD. Brokering has multiple meanings to it. Basically if the owner doesn't feel like spending the time selling his domain, he hires brokers to do it for him. I have multiple contacts, that have contacts, that have contacts, so therefor it is a network of potential buyers. Brokers that gets there contacts from other brokers, people, etc, usually generate more business that way.

Kind Regards,

Jason F.

I don't doubt that this is your function; I just find it counter-productive posting here on DNF for a domain that's already being offered for sale by the owner. Maybe my common sense is a bit warped? :-D

No lol, your common sense is not warped all. You are making a good point. But there are brokers and there are wannabe brokers out there. You obviously want to get to know the owner as well as possible, before you go helping him out. You want to know as much possible information about the domain you're selling so that potential buyers won't figure it as a scam. Ask any of the owners I broker for, whether I got to know them and everything about there domains before I went out to broke.;) I haven't had anything bad posted to my reputation yet.

Happy New Year all, and Kind Regards,

Jason F.

Mod Note:

Only one person will be allowed to offer these names for sale in any forum, and not the owner selling them in "domains for sale" and the broker advertising them in "brokered sales"

Nor will bumping be allowed by the broker/partner of the owner or vice versa.
