I'd develop a very graphical even gory site, like a picture encyclopedia,
work up a name for the site, let people hotlink to sections like
www.diseases.com/measles

Be great for insults if anything! Almost like owning dictionary.com.

solid name, but has too much of a negative connotation to be in the same category as pills.com etc. pharma companies and drug manufacturers like to refer to "illnesses" and "medical disorders" and the word "diseases" is just too negative for it to appeal to them. IMHO.
