Framing this as a single (all or nothing) question is not that helpful... It seems like one has a choice among options that ignores price. It is like asking what is your favorite house ignoring price -- one that costs $50,000, one that costs $100,000, or one that costs $1,000,000? The obvious pick is the one that costs $1,000,000. Even if you prefer the one that costs $50,000, you pick the one that the market currently values at $1,000,000 and sell it, buy the one for $50,000 and have $950,000 in extra cash.

For my two cents -- A more interesting question is what is your view of each of the extensions as an *investment* given their current prices and your expectations of future changes in value. Differences in expectations of future value changes are what make markets interesting. For example --

"Which of the following extensions is the best one for investing in domain name registrations Please consider differences in current prices across extension and possible increases or decreases in future value."

Then you might get a lot more variation and interesting results.

Rather than just talk about this, I did it, but credit goes to you for starting the idea. Let's see how the two poll results compare?
