So?!
What is your aim? Ok, so you said duv.com is dropping and a cluless one have seen your post and went namewinner or his or her super script and grabbed it? Do you think by doing so you are helping people.

* Please do not make comments like that against me *

Good to see that someone's still care to share his knowledge.

Thanks. This is what a mods should be. Thumbs up.

no offense SirAlex

Namewinner $1213.00 current bid. Good to see a 3 letter .com looking strong. :)

Alex, I believe everyone who wants duv.com already knew it will drop today. It's not so hard to find. I am glad we have members such as Whois-Search who post good dropping names.

Perhaps he ( Alex ) was after it and didn't want any extra competition from those that didn't know it dropped.

Thanks for your free public service, whois-search.

SirAlex - relax. You don't own a monopoly on dropped names.

I don`t think so, because I hit reg every 0,5 sec:D
And buydomains every 0,00000000..1 sec

Faster than you could ever hope to run it.

Then it would probably be RRP based and therefore not a script written by you.

However let me know your results. I'll be interested to see them. :)

I doubt it was his knowledge. More likely pulled it off an Exody list; a service that (unless you make your own lists) anyone remotely interested in gTLD drops should subscribe too.

So if we all subscribed to Exody, we'd all have known about it. Then we'd all probably be annoyed when someone posted it in public, for those who cannot be bothered to do their own research (or pay a service such as Exody to do it), to jump on.

So it seems logical, to me, that those who are praising Andrew for posting it for all to see are only doing so because they didn't know about it already. Perhaps if they put the same amount of effort into reading a few Exody emails every day, rather than doing the above, their domain acquisition rate might improve. :)

As for Andrew. If you think you're doing people a favour by posting these names in public; well you are but you're not really encouraging people to be smart enough to find the names themselves. Also, since you were able to find the name and post it on here, maybe thats actually a demonstration of how smart you don't have to be to find great names thesedays.

If you're looking for admiration; personally I'd rather be admired for locating and catching a good name rather than by people thanking me for throwing them a freebie in public. I suppose it's all down to what floats your boat... Hope it 'worked' for you!

So it's pretty much like I said; you're passing on information from others. It's not like you've done any of the hard work to find the names. I'm not talking about whether you have permission or not. I'm talking about whether you're being smart, and are actually doing anyone a real long term favour by doing it.

Sin.net and rme.net are not even on the exody lists david this week

Go check the getgo.x3 and you'll quite clearly see rme.net listed. duv.com is also listed and it is actually that domain name which we are discussing.

I cannot be bothered to try to validate if sin.net is/was in Exody or not, since it has now been registered. Someone else might be able to though.

No thanks. If I want more I'll go direct to the organ grinders.........[figure out the rest] :)
