URL: www.elitebags.net

Age of site (months): 5

Avg. monthly revenue: $2,000.00+

Revenue details:
The following is based on orders processed by osCommerce and does not
include our wholesale orders.
Feb: $250
Mar: $700
Apr: $1210
May: $1775

The site is growing extremely fast and generating about $500 extra per
month. I have included pictures of the way we do wholesale orders
through PayPal as well as the orders placed through the site.

Avg. monthly pageviews: 60,000

Traffic details:
Plase view the pictures for up to date stats

Description:
The site is eCommerce based, tailoring to the ever growing community
of "fashion gurus". I have not done ANY advertising at all… no
adSense, no newspaper ads… nothing. The site was started after we had
a store on ioffer.com. A lot of business was generated through there,
and we decided to open our own site instead and quit selling on
ioffer. The site requires hardly any attention at all, maybe a total
of an hour a day to read emails and respond to questions. Once or
twice a month you might have to update the site with new products
which may take longer. We are currently hosting with JaguarPC for
$10/mo. As of right now, that is our only overhead cost besides the
domain renewal once a year. The site is an osCommerce store that has
been heavily modified to appeal to the feminine market. There are
currently 863 products listed on the site now. After updates this
month, there will be over 1000 products. There is no inventory at all.
All shipping is done by my supplier.

What's for sale: The entire business! Supplier info, customer
base, site, privately registered domain, everything!!! I have started
a forums on the site, however, I have not developed it yet. There is
talks of merging with www.replicaforums.com which has many
more active users. The winning buyer will receive 250 matching
business cards as well as 50 clear business card holders. I am
currently accepting certified checks, bank transfers, or other forms
of payment you might suggest. I've never sold a business before, so I
don't really know what other methods are out there.

Suggestions for new owner: I will perform the following if the
winning buyer wants it done. I believe no's. 1 and 3 will increase
sales dramatically.
1)Install a "Proceed directly to checkout" feature on the
site to allow customers to proceed directly to the checkout screen
without having to create an account.
2)Remove the banner at the bottom of the site for one.org
3)Add a Live Support feature other than the Instant Messenger
status that is there now.

PLEASE NOTE!!! There is an offer in on the business for 15K
right now. However, the person making the offer does not have access
to the funds for another 30 days. She has given me permission to try
and sell it within that month to another buyer.

If there are any questions… please PM me.

Current Offer: $15,000.00 USD

Is this an auction? No

Buy Now Price: $30,000.00 USD

Offer ends: July 1st at midnight

The owner e-mailed me the following in response to your questions.

1) Most business comes from word of mouth. We ask everyone to tell
people about our bags if they like theirs. Also, we use to sell on a
site called iOffer.com, so I think a lot of it is repeat customers as
well.

2) The supplier is a gentleman by the name of Mr. Zhou who is based in
Ghangzhou, China

3) Including wholesale orders, the site to date has made just over 5K,
most sales being in April and May

4) The site has made about $1,160 to date in June

And I'm selling the site because I am getting ready to go overseas.

So it makes around 3k a month, why do you want only 18k? 6 months rev.

There has to be a reason as sites are sold normally for 2-5 years rev, maybe more.

The owner replies: "it has grown way to fast for a stay at home mom to handle. And my husband is getting ready to do his tour in Iraq and I will be staying with my mother for that time and can not ( and really dont want ) to handle it.

Also, we are opening the bidding for 18k, if we get more then GREAT!"

The owner also says that you can e-mail her personally with any questions or comments at: [email protected]

As silly as it sounds the site being so cheap is scarying me and i just cant help but think there is a catch.

I think paying some one to run the site would be a better option for here, 2 if its making lets say 30k per year, then the site is atleast got to be worth over 60-90k maybe even 120.

Ill email her direct.

Maybe there's legal issues involved. Still trying to figure out whether it is legal or illegal to sell replicas. Looking up the laws currently.

Ofcourse there is a catch. This is an illegal business. It is called trademark infringement. I have been involved in the past before I found out about such things and got in trouble. Stay away from the site.

From what we've spoken to lawyers about, it is only illegal if you advertise and represent the
items as authentic. We clearly state on the home page and on the FAQ page, that they are in fact
replicas and are meant for novelty purposes only. Not to represented as the real thing in any way shape
or form.

You are an idiot and a liar. This thread should be closed and your account suspended. No lawyer would ever tell you that because it is not true. I have been sued for doing the same thing you are doing so how can you say it is not illegal? You are only allowed to sell "designer alternatives" which are products without the names on it. I looked at some of your louis vuitton products which clearly have the logo LV on them. That makes it illegal no matter how you sell it.

Why should my account be suspened? I do not own this website. I will speak with the owners. Looks like someone needs to cool down.

Didn't read the last line of your description however it is in the wrong thread anyways. It should be in the brokerage thread if it was a legal website to sell.

No, the brokerage section is only for domains. There is no place for developed webpages. Or am I wrong?

Does it really matter at this point? You are brokering a website that sells an illegal product that the owner will be prosecuted for? Having a disclamer does not protect yourself or anybody else. Its like having a disclamer on a website that sells drugs claiming that they are only to be used for education, medical, or whatever other purposes.

Public Note To Alll Who Are Viewing This..

The fact that they are selling illegal merchandise, is that this is pure speculation. The fact isn't clear, and the matter will be sorted out quickly. People come to ruin sales because they assume things, isn't exactly showing a lot of maturity. Please do not continue to ruin this thread by posting the website is illegal - before you directly contact the owner specifically.

WOW. You are not comprehending any of this is. This is not pure speculation. This is fact. I was taken to court by a number of various companies for this so how you can you sit there and tell me this is speculation. It is 100% illegal, that is a fact. Go here if you don't believe me:
http://www.usdoj.gov/criminal/cybercrime/DipadovaSent.htm

This was the first website to be prosecuted for trademark infringmenet. Owners are in JAIL

I guess I can't say the word Idiot enough. I will bash this thread as much as I like. If you want, you can contact the administrator and he will just close this thread. There are websites promoting child pornography, does that mean its legal? If you bothered to read everything on ebay, you will see that those things are banned. In fact, they ban replica products all the time. Like I said, designer brand names are legal. But this website and the ones listed arent selling designer goods, they are selling replicas. There is a huge difference between the two.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/replica-counterfeit.html
Counterfeits, unauthorized replicas, unauthorized items (such as counterfeit watches, handbags, or other accessories) or unauthorized copies (such as copies of software programs, video games, music albums, movies, television programs, or photographs) are not permitted on eBay. Unauthorized copies include (but are not limited to) copies that are pirated, duplicated, backed-up or bootlegged. It is illegal to sell unauthorized copies of media.
