It was just pushed active only a few minutes ago, so give it a moment to make sure that all caches expire and the like :)

There have been a few minor issues that are being fixed now. To my knowledge, nobody has lost out on an auction as a result of any bug - but if that's not the case, please do let me know, and I'll ensure that it's addressed.

I used to be able to catch domains (on my 6.95 acc) for 8.95 using CD. I made the mistake of putting a lot of "reg fee" type names into my list and was charged $17 (ish) /ea for them. Is there no more 8.95 CD?

That is correct, the minimum bid has been $10 for quite some time now.

I placed a $50 proxy bid yesterday at enom and lost to a $20 bid.

The new system sucks and doesn't work.

Perhaps testing it before making something live would be in order.

nitronet, please contact matt@enom.com and make sure he's informed about your situation. We're doing what it takes to make these issues right.

I contacted him, did a support request and not a reply from anyone.

Why do you come here and act like you give a crap, when your customer service is non-existant?

Why don't you take care of it like you stated you would - I sent you a PM with all the details early this morning.

Nitro, I'm a developer. I code. I couldn't "take care of it" if I wanted to. What I can do is make sure that those who can take care of these issues have the information they need. I can also make sure that they know who is mentioning it, what they're saying, and give them any information that I can, from the development side, to help them get it done.

I know that they're working on sorting out any problems, because they've asked me for my help. But things aren't instant, no matter how much you or I would like them to be. Problems happen, and solutions sometimes take time.

I do give a crap. If I didn't give a crap, I wouldn't participate in these forums. Then again, if trying to help gets me attitudes like yours, perhaps I should just stop giving a crap?

I think my frustration venting was taken the wrong way.

I appreciate your help.

Its 3 days and no reply from Matt.

As an aside, how does ENOM get away with charging a 3% service charge on all credit card and paypal deposits to your account. This is a blatant disregard for Visa, Mastercard, and American Express rules which state that a merchant is not allowed to charge any type of fee for using a credit card.

Maybe we all need to inform the credit card companies of this practice also.

Interesting...I think the point is not to discriminate against credit cards, and by setting minimums and surcharges, they are doing just that.
