It hasn't been ditched, it's just been moved.

I'm sorry, I just realized that my answer wasn't complete. It's been moved to the "reports" section.

WHY ? wouldn't it make sense to keep it within the auction section as well for ease . . . was pretty good location before. oh well

also I just tried to run a report and when I pull down the menu to the "auction history" it defaults me back to the enom homepage for some reason.

I don't know, strongvis, I just get the names, I don't work on the user interface. But I'll pass along the comment to the UI team and let them know your thoughts.

The "report" function still does not work.

Is there a motive behind Enom not letting us have that data?

I can not think of any. Maybe, someone else might have a suggestion.

Or, is that they just haven't had time to fix it?

But, why delete it from its' past location before you have it set up at a new location?

I can't speak to why it's not working, since my area of responsibility is strictly in getting the names. But I will ask first thing Tuesday (Monday is a holiday here, and although I will be working, I doubt that many will).

With all of the bad press that Pool is getting for hiding the bid data.
Not counting that Pool's new auction system is reducing their revenue.

Why is Enom still continuing to hide "auction history"?

Is it showing that the average bidding price is dropping?

Actually it increases their revenue. They have even blackmailed me into bidding against myself..... :-(

Why not use the "Club Drop" report. Is this the same with auction history?

Man, Oliver Stone has nothing on you guys! There's no conspiracy, the auction history portion of the web site was moved to "reports" and part of it was not moved correctly. There is a bug against it and the person who owns that code is aware of it and is working on getting it back online as quickly as possible.

Chris,

Thanks for the update. Tech Support at Enom did not seem to know about this until I went through 3 rounds of requesting help (I even suggested that they contact you). Glad to hear they are working on it.

The history function still does not work.

I guess it takes more than one day to fix the problem???

think about this - you are bidding on 5 names - you win 2 and you go and refill your account - but wait how much - i totally forgot what the final bid was ... well i guess whatever enom charges me ...lets see ..well i just look at hte report section under club drop - yeahh , i got to ..they show pending payment ...how much ??

before i looked at the auction history ...lets see ... gone...broken link - no problem i just trust enom to charge me whatever they feel like it is worth...

Did I miss something? You forgot what you paid and that is somehow someone else's fault?

Regardless, the bid history going missing was a bug, it has been resolved, and should be pushed to our live site presently.

yes, i think you are missing something - please read the post.

i wrote "..forgot what the final bid was.. "

i sometimes bid on 5 names - then i go and actually have a life !!

i don't have time to reload the auction page every 30 seconds to see if someone else raised the bid..and be at the auction until it actually closes.
but i guess you can not understand this...

sometimes it is after 5 pm when i go back and see - but there was no way (in the last week how high the bid went (except when outbid the email or if very high on the top 20)

but anyway since you say it is fixed , that doesn't matter anymore..
