Hi all,

I have a domain (let's call it domain.com) that uses enom DNS servers, and is forwarded to a sedo parking page.

I wanted to know if there's a way to also forward to the parking page all of the access to domain.com/page.html ? If I try accessing a "page" in this domain I get a Sedo 404 error.

I'm quite sure that if these 404 acceses were forwarded to the parking page it could increase my PPC income from this name...

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.
This is how it's defined now.

It redirects all the subdomains (ie: adfkas.domain.com), but it doesnt forward something like domain.com/asdsad.html, which is my problem

I currently do this, but I host all the domains on my own server so unless you can do that I dunno what you can do. :-(

You will be able to do that even if you have an entry-level shared hosting (simple 404 redirect). I know some decent hosting companies do NOT charge extra for forwarding domains. So unless you do NOT have 1 single paid hosting account but use eNom alone, you won't be paying anything on top.

Yea,
I thought that was the only possibility - redirect it (or host it) to my site, and there I'll put a 404.shtml file that will redirect back to Sedo.

Anyone know how to redirect subdomain traffic (i.e.subdomainname.domainname.com) to the index page on a unix server if the subdomain names are unknown, perhaps using a wildcard*, not sure how?

This need pops up when you buy a domain which was a former website which used subdomains but you do not know the names.

P.S. to Madcamel, I just got an excellent htaccess file from member cinran so I suggest you ask him if he could also send it to you, but it may only work if you have your own server and perhaps not if using Sedo unless you first use errorcodes and next redirect.

One thing I could never figure out is how to use htaccess error codes and at the same time also use htaccess redirection. How can it be done when it seems only 1 file can be named htaccess? Anyone know how?

Your .htaccess file can have more than 1 single line.

EDIT: Just like what cyphix has posted.
