Hi,
Great name. Do you have any proof of stats? And also any revenue from current visitors?

Unfortunately I was only using a simple redirect of freewebpages.com to an existing website, so I did not have detailed traffic data for freewebpages.com. The 300 daily visitor count was just an estimate based on the jump in traffic received by the destination website (smartsites.com).

But the good news is that I just changed the domain redirection, so that going forward I will be able to provide detailed traffic and commission stats for freewebpages.com.

In the next 24-48 hours, I will post the latest info.

You might get more interest if the sale was after the domain was 60 days old. Personally, I wouldn't be interested in a domain if I had to wait weeks before I could move it to OpenSRS.

It's a great name, though.

Hi George,

Actually there has been a lot of interest and I have received many bids via email, which is why I started the ebay auction in the first place.

I can only assume people are waiting until the last minute to place their bids in order to take advantage of this no reserve auction.

As far as the transfer goes, I can push the domain name to any domaindiscount24 account. Since domaindiscount24 accounts are free to signup for, this should be quick and painless. :-D

Luc,

Please type in freewebpages.com.

Using Mydomain.com, it is automatically redirected to:
http://smartsites.com/freewebpages/

This is why I am providing log stats for: smartsites.com/freewebpages/

I am sorry if this is confusing, but I need to use Mydomain.com for redirection, because they provide redirection for all of the subdomains for freewebpages.com (i.e. zzz.freewebpages.com, xyz.freewebpages.com, etc.). Unfortunately I do not have access to wildcard redirection on my own hosting account, which is why I am using Mydomain.com.

I am providing as much traffic information as possible with the current hosting setup and I personally guarantee you that the logs represent only traffic generated by freewebpages.com and its subdomains. If the auction winner does not receive this same level of traffic, then I will provide a full 110% refund. I have bought and sold domains from many of the members on this board and stand behind my good reputation.

I understand the cynical attitude, but don't let it stand in the way of a very nice domain purchase.

Thanks,
Paul Barbell

I am sure moderators are acting in good faith to protect potential buyers but having had the pleasure to deal with Paul,
I, personally, do not have doubt about his absolute good faith too.

Thanks,

Paul.

Sorry about that.

This thread didn't stick out, but it was reported by two other
members (2 people pressed the report button) and both people
asked for me to take a look at the stats.

I kinda figured it was forwarding, but since I didn't see any
note in regards to that in the original thread, I assumed
something may be going on.

To clear up the issue, Paul is a good guy and the traffic stats
are legitimate.

Sorry for the fuss, and best of luck with the sale and transaction!
Luc L.

Hi DomainGoon,

Honestly I was hoping for around $10K, but I wasn't getting my hopes up too high. Especially when the high bid was still around $3000 with only 3 minutes left to go!
