Ah! More tweaking got us down to 560ms load time:) We are now averaging between 500ms-800ms! I better leave it alone now! Time for some other updates.

Thread moved to Website Discussion, since you already had another thread there, about the same domain name.

Now the big question is, advertisements or no advertisements. I like the idea of having a clean site that isn't riddled with ads, but then again, I want to monetize where and whenever possible. So the question is, with a clean and simple looking site, where do I sneak the ads in? Blog posts? Is that too "hidden", as in, they'd have to dig too far to "find" the ads? Any suggestions?

Changed up the homepage a bit and put up some ads! Along with the blog page and blog category pages :)

Pingdom page speed now down between 400-500ms.

Epic!

HUGE Jump in SERP results. From #82 and finally settling at #19 as our starting point for our SEO campaign.

Here we go. Yes the sites up for sale, but it doesn't mean i'll accept the offers I get, so we are pushing forward as usual!

Two things...

One, ads come after traffic is established, but if put up too early it will repress traffic. Monetise if you plan on keeping it. But not if you are looking for a quick sale. M2c.

Two, https and content for ranking.
