Good price for domains

What's a good price for domains making $1 a day from type-in traffic while being parked? $2? $3? Etc? Is there an algorithm for it? I've seen monthly times 30 for a price tag for some domains, but what if their monthly profit is 50 cents... is this domain to be sold for $15 if it can't even make reg fee a year?

Do you take in account that the name can also be developed on? :?:

Uuuummmm can you not honestly answer that yourself, should the sale be based solely on revenue that is.

Multiple will be based on what type of name, extension, tm, no tm, fad product, solid industry leading name and so on. Will range from months to decades.

Don't take in account only on type-in traffic for the sale price of domains.

Dot com's are the only marketable extension, and that's all that matters.

Look on namebio.com and see the sales for domains.

if, you are buying "type-in" traffic, then verify it is... first.

type-in traffic is "direct navigation of/by a user to a specific url"

instead of a user going to google,yahoo,bing, etc, they enter where they "think" or know" they want to go by typing your domain in the "address" bar of their browser.


the "mis-spelled words/domains or typo's" are also considered type-in traffic, when a user types in error.

generic type-ins can be the correct spelling of non-tm names and generic type-ins can also be typo's of those same words.

typically multiples for generics are whatever you want to ask or whatever the buyer is willing to pay. ( 2 years, 5 years, 10 years to 100 or more)
those sellers with the most knowledge of the value and potential of generics, tend to get the highest roi.

typo's of generic domains may sell for a "percentage value" based on the previous sale of the correct spelling for that typo, or a monthly/yearly multiple, depending on the domain.


tm type-in traffic is considered less valueable because of the risks associated with infringement, though a market still exists where multiples typically range 10 months and up, depending on the domain.

i had received an offer for "3 word .com with 16 letters" in $,$$$ range.

though after i passed on the offer, virtually the same domain in .org extension sold on sedo in same price range.
