I was hoping to buy "namesay.com" which was dropped yesterday. It came out on dd as deleted initially, tried to buy it, not successful, checked back at dd a few mins later and it appeared on hold.

Decided to put Snap on it, and today, someone else got it. The domain was removed from root server, and the guy actually bought it using an email bearing the domain. Isn't that very risky?

Will love to hear some comments from the "Pros" here ... wanna learn to increase my chances ... ;) ;)

I don't think its risky, especially if the information has the names resolve within a few days. I think its risky to populate the whois with bogus info, but others would disagree and do that on a regular basis.

What used to be NameSay.com is now here:
http://namesay.tripod.com

Looks like they purposefully let it expire.

Maybe they changed their mind and all this was already in place?
