SECOND (EARLIER) VERSION:

OK, some time has passed and here's another round. These are expiring in September, and Sedo's automatic pricing tool estimates each of them at $299, which is the tool's minimum. Which would you renew?

Hi

with a user name like "sitemaker"....what can I say? :)

seems you leen towards jewish names

so...to the tune of "if I were a rich man, lalalala-laaa if I were a sitemaker, some of the info's and maybe a couple of .us would get developed..

like:

oilsupply.us
protectionservice.us
cancerdrugs.info
videorecording.info
productrecalls.info

imo...

Thanks for the input, Biggie. I do, in fact, specialize in Jewish domains and musical domains.

The problem with owning a few thousand domains is that only a tiny fraction can be developed in the available time.

I'm not dropping any of my developed ones (e.g., Siddur.org, Acccordionist.org, JewishJokes.org, etc. etc.).

But assuming that I won't have time to develop any of these domains for a very long time, which of these are too good to drop?

Which would you renew until sold (for example, at Sedo via MLS)?

Thanks again.

Thanks for posting, Vincent.

If I were to throw together a fast Wordpress site with Adsense and a few pages, then might any of them be worth carrying?

(That doesn't take me much time; what takes time is promoting a site, building a community, etc.)

Hi, Chip. Good to hear from you. Are you still doing the drop-catching thing?

Yeah, dot-coms outsell all the other TLDs combined from my Sedo account. But lately Sedo has sold some .us and .info for me, apparently through GoDaddy's front-end via Sedo's MLS. A pleasant surprise.

Well here's a happy ending! I just got an offer at Sedo for SuperDads dot org.

So I guess I'm renewing that one! :)

(Sedo's pricing tool says $290. Estibot says $200. Buyer's first offer is the ever-popular good-old-fashioned $60.)

Just a suggestion in general for future list (for anyone not just you). when making a list of domains it helps me when all the .com etc are organized together. It saves time reading them and much easier to make quick decisions , rather then liking the domain and waiting to see extension and if it fits or makes sense to make the final call.

just a thought. :)
