I just searched for site:fabulous.com on Google and I was surprised to see a very shallow indexing (only 435 results) and all of them seem to be links with no descriptions or visitation dates. Fabulous.com has a PR of 6 and I would assume that at least www.fabulous.com would have a description in Google's results (but it doesn't). Could they be punished by Google? Why aren't they appearing normally in search results? Any lessons learned from this?

There is nothing in their description tag.

<head>
<title>Fabulous</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

<script language="JavaScript">
<!--

function SymError()
{
return true;
}

window.onerror = SymError;

//-->
</script>

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="/general.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/css/di/index.css">
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
var loaded = false;
</script>
</head>

And regarding proper indexing, I see this for so many websites.

I don't see why not having description tags would make that much of a difference. Google usually writes descriptions from page content.

Google appears to be a complex beast. What I'd like to know in relation to this is whether it's worth adding links to your own non-parked sites with your domains on Fabulous. I have about 300 parked there and I was thinking of adding a link on each of the custom pages to my own sites that I want to promote - maybe even just one link.

Or, does Google ignore all such links on parked pages?

Yup, strange stuff. You need to read some of the (complex) articles about SEO in relation to Google -- they make a riveting read... :goofy:
