They have this "bad letters" in it, so i suppose 25$ max. (each).
With the rareity now of the .us 3 letters (you can't get them for a reg fee anymore), the price has moved up. Probably starting at $25 to $xxxx now. Also this myth of "bad letters" is a bad one to follow. You're going to miss some very valuable names if you start writing off certain letters. Who would want the letter (J) for example, but then you'd miss jpg. Or (V) then you'd miss wav, or (k) and you'd miss ktm, a type of motorcycle. You get the idea.
Better to do a little research into the number of Google pages and Overture searches per month, as well as what companies are using the combinations. Also, check foreign corporations that have US branches. They are using the .us extension to show their involvement in America (see
www.volvocars.us) just as you might expect a US company with a branch in Germany to use .de.
In the case of the names mentioned in this thread, I like NYX.us the best as it gets ok Overture for a 3 letter and has companies using the letters such as NYX Golf Sunglasses and NYX Inc. a market leading minority business provider of automotive interior and under-hood solutions.
