Another friggin nightmare.

A few weeks ago I got a $1000 domain at pool registered at dodora.com but still no domain because dodora is bankrupt.

They have my money
They say they are not a registrar and can't help
It's chargeback time.

For the record pool is still acquiring domains using dodora.com which has now gone bankrupt and another piss poor registrar has taken over for them - DirectI.

How can they just keep doing this?

Throw vedacore.com on the pile too. They suck.

Call the phone number and it hangs up on you!

Nice way to start a working relationship.

Yep, I have been waiting for over two months to get login info for a domain at Vedacore and still don't have it. I have Pool working on it too and still getting nowhere with them. The domain will expire before I can ever access it at this rate!

Not Pool but Namewinner - caught a name for me via shop4domain.com in October 2003 and I am still chasing both of them for login info!

I bought domain at Pool Marketplace. I did not saw that domain was on registrar called "Bid it Win it". The registrar (of course) does not have any administration interface!!! And they ALSO put wrong whois data for my domain (NOTICE: if admin email in whois is wrong you cannot make not even the first step of transfer process).

I mailed them (BiditWinit) twice. No response.
I mailed Pool twice: twice the answer was - talk to the registrar.
I mailed NameScout (Pool sent me their account data instead of BiditWinit's!) to see what to do. The answer was (in short) "nothing".

In other words: you payed for the domain, but you dont have it. And the whois data is false too. Thank you Pool for nothing...

Thank's for the warning. I'll make sure any name I go for is NOT registered there...

good idea!
factor in where the name is caught with in regards to whether you should bid or not.
