Is Pool support even in existence. I emailed them 3 days ago about a name that I won last Monday which I also emailed the registrar where the name resides and no response from either of them. I don't think it should take a week to find out your domain's details especially after you've been billed. What is the turnaround time for response normally? This isn't the first time I've never gotten a response from them!

It usually takes over a week for them to respond.

If they respond at all.

Thanks. Is this typical. I've only won two names there so far, the first took about 4 days for me to get the info. I'm used to getting the info immediately from NameWinner or SnapNames, just wanted to know if this normal Pool activity to send the domain details after a week.....

Once you see your whois up, you go to the registrar who caught your name and retrieve lost password. That's how I always get mine. With Namescout, once they have got a name for you, you can always log in and will find your newly caught name in the same account.

I checked a couple of times and still only has the registrar info on there. Not my details. I went to the web site to email them and can't even find anything about domain management anywhere http://www.hjlinnen.com .

You need to call them directly. The longest domain name that I have not gotten all my information or even transferred is 1 and a half month. A few of them are 3 weeks!
Yes I have been e-mailing pool every few days.
The phone waiting time is very long, but if you got lucky it will be a few seconds.
So call on different time of day.

This sucks, I just won a domain with HJLinnen too....damn those Pool registrars!

That will not help me.
Whois shows pool as the owner and I have no login or anything.
They have my money.

I had a similar problem recently with Communigal & Pool. I contacted Pool and it took them 3 days to have the registrar send me my account info. Total wait: 2 weeks since registration.

"pool support" that's an oxymoron, you have to pound them with emails before they you get a clear response even then it would another week before you can get your hands on your domain.

Some Pool registrars I've ended up with.....
Will not even release a user/pass to the domain for 60 days.
You want something changed you have to email in and beg for it.
