The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. Just two weeks after the strongest week of the year, we had one of the softest. Only one 5-figure sale was reported this week (after 8 last week and 13 the week before). However, with the sales that are in the pipeline it looks like it will be a very short break. Despite the slowdown the new TLD's held up well, especially .info which took 6 of 7 position on our new extension chart. Read all about it through the link below:

hmm, a lot of good money chasing after a lot of bad names. I think the buyers should just come down to DNF to buy names if thats the quality they are after.

Mole , I didnt mind spending $350 for Concerts.Ws .. thats the most I have spent on a .ws but it will pay for itself hundreds of times over over the next few years...

I originally bought this domain from izopod and sold to Page and then he sold to you. Woohoo!

Look foward to seeing your developed site.
I plan to develop several of my sites as well.

Assunimg Izopod also got it from a reseller that is reseller to reseller to reseller to reseller. That's a lot of resellers, especially for a .ws name.

BTW Duke, I too noticed a big slowdown this week in terms of traffic and even phone calls and emails due to the end of summer I am sure, so I see why the domain sales report was lackluster.

I believe you will find this week will also be slow.

In the U.S., we have Labor Day Weekend coming up. And, some people take
this week off.

Plus, some parents are taking their college students back to school.

Plus everyone in Florida will be hunkered down for another hurricane! :-(

Hard to believe we will get slammed by two Cat 4's (Frances could go to a 5) in less than a month. A local weatherman said the last time it happened was in the mid 1800's and both of those hit Tampa head on. Of course no one was living here then. He also said that if it comes ashore on Florida's east coast we could still have 110 mph winds over here on the west coast! So much for the Labor Day weekend cookout!

Yes this one could go right across the state again and we would feel it. Hope they do not want us to leave again. Living on the water does have it's disadvantages this time of year. Just got the insurance guy to start on our house on Captiva. Hope it does not head that way again!!!

Yes, this is miserable for us Florida folks! I drove through through Punta Gorda and Arcadia the morning after Charley, what a disaster area! Lets hope this
thing shoots up the coast and misses Florida. The projected path at the moment is
landfall in Melbourne, however data changes by the minute.

Remember Duke's disclaimer on the site and the fact most sales go unreported. I bought a 4 figure domain yesterday. And sold a 4 figure domain today (still pending/confidential). While these aren't extremely high sales with regards to others plenty of these go on weekly. Even 3 figure sales aren't bad.

I heard that the alligators have had enough of the Fla. weather pattern.

They are all moving to New Orleans. :-D

:-D Some were reported to be hitchhiking by the roads.

Hope all goes with our floridian domainers with minimal damage on this blower.
