Yes, please post stats. And for your comment on junior members, please edit that out of respect for those junior members who are very capable of making large purchases. Please post traffic stats, revenue stats, link stats, costs of running, time spent on updating and any other varifiable and pertinent info. Thanks.

You haven't responded to my last PM asking several pertinent questions about the (how shall we say) "large" price tag you put on it, and how you intend to deal with the obvious trademark issues, or how a prospective purchaser should prepare for the attentions of one of the largest (and most litigious) corporations in the world...

Would you care to answer, or shall we discuss it here in public?

I have a site that gets 50 uniques per day and makes no money that has stats similar to this:

Successful requests: 20,380
Average successful requests per day: 20,827
Logfile lines without status code: 414
Successful requests for pages: 3,314
Average successful requests for pages per day: 3,385
Failed requests: 760
Distinct files requested: 365
Distinct hosts served: 1,784
Data transferred: 97,249 kbytes
Average data transferred per day: 99,388 kbytes

Can you please post some better stats?

I have decided not to sell and go ahead with our SEO project. The stats mentioned is for one day only, we do to 16000 - 40 000 hits per day. Revenue is to match. Our UK overture count is over 7000 with extention.

I don't see us getting nearly what this site is worth if we try to sell.

no offense, but when you post crappy stats like the ones above at the beginning, it doesnt help you much, had you had said 40,000 hits per day you would have got much more interest

I don't think so... put up a site with many images on each page and you can easily get thousands of hits...

It is unique visitors that count. These weird, crappy stats prove nothing. How can someone ask 100k for a site and not be able to post decent stats?

Yes, what does 100KB traffic per day translate into in human terms?

Not a lot.

He still hasn't bothered to reply to my (quite polite) PM... No matter, he won't own the site for much longer. Once the Beeb spot him, their lawyers will dump on him faster than a nun the morning after a vindaloo curry and 12 pints of Special Brew.

BTW, I have a bunch of sites that use exactly the same PPC plug in (although mine are implemented properly, and results get returned by the search feed!) that get FAR more searches per day than his effort, and at an insane juvenile nutter valuation of 100K, you are looking at basically something like 50 YEARS income, ignoring costs etc, and assuming that google etc don't get any better at weeding out spam sites of this type. Newbie, IMHO. Probably doesn't even know that most of his 'successful searches' come from spiders.
