Still need button/icon linking help..

All the buttons on the left and icons on the top have "links" ..

I want to save time and juts add the links once ..save and have the saved version with the links propogate throughout the entire web site..

I thought I knew how to do something so basic.. but not working..

I am using FP 200 and I have Uleads PhotoImpact to work with..

The top may be more of a pain because it is one image..I am just using FP's HotSpot for creating links..am I going to have to splice that main image

anyways.. as usual I pay DNF for these tutorials...

There would be at least 2 ways of doing that - 1 would be to use frames, something I'm not familiar with or like

The other would be to break up your code into sections using php.

For example, on the Alabama & travel pages, you would "include header.php" where header is the top and side links.

As you have the calendar on more than 1 page, that would be good to 'include' as well.

The best way I found in front page is to save a template with all your links that will aways be on every page. When you start a new page just open the template and rename it! Any further questions pm me or icq 2261892

frames is one option - very easy to do but it drives visitors away very quickly and youll get next to no search engine rating

i use php includes on my sides but if your not familiar with php then id suggest SHTML - all you need to do is seperate the page into seperate sections - to start off just try header and footer

then save all pages with a .shtml extension and include this link at the top of every page

<!--#include virtual="header.html"--> - or whatever you call your section - and <!--#include virtual="footer.html"--> at the vottom of the page

then all you have to do is amend the header and footer files when you want to change the page - just make sure your host allows shtml extensions
