Blink,
Re: men.com , I do know the buyers personally and met them. Real people, top notch.
Regarding Fab, people have different reason why they use them and not others. It is not always about the bottom line as you will find out in this game with a little more experience. Relationships matters.
What else.. we had a convention in LA two years ago which was quite amazing. Many people who came consider it to be the best of the best. The people who will come to this one are also some of the top people in the biz.
I can understand you don't like Rick, and that's cool with me.. but many others who are coming are not coming because of Rick, they come because they wish to learn and make good connections with others.
the big picture is this.. Rick is organizing this convention however, it is about the PEOPLE who come, join, and share, and definitely NOT about Rick.
A g r e e t h a t n e t w o r k i n g i s b e n e f i c i a l
but networking with the right people!
The thing is
1) It is not about Rick
but "register" page is 100% about Rick and his board only.
2) Altho $1000-$5000 is not that big money, buy what player big or small will want to pay it knowing they will likely not get what is being advertised?
Again, what a crook who sends traffic to fabulous.com can teach you? I have nothing against fabulous.com, they are a nice company but they are non-competitive when we compare them to google and/or overture.
3) Who will come to the conference when such a jackass hostes it? Tell me who? I can bet $10 000 that you will not see 5% of top 100 players there.
4) This is business, not personal. Not personal.
Not personal. Only an idiot would want to personolize a business conference. Take a look at register page
http://www.targetedtraffic.com/register.html
It comes out that if you are not a member of Rick's personal board, you should pay 5 times more than if you are a member of his board where if you you want to becomea member you will need to demonstrate loyalty to someone you have no respect to and who is a totally crooked jackass.
This conferrence seems to be a private party of Rick "the King" with a party ticket ranging from $1000 - $5000. He probably thinks he is Madonna or Britney Spears. There'll benothing to see, I bet and since it's a personal party, forget the business.
