That site has been online for quite a while now, I am surprised that it only now gets announced here at DNF? :)

Gotta love this:
"2 P.M. - Seminar by DOMAIN KING on MORONS!!" :-D

Cheers,
Rob

I love this one from the website "Past Board Members kicked off Board NOT WELCOME"

Well, it seems that eliminates many long-time experienced domainers, after all, who hasn't been kicked off of domainking's board over the years?

I doubt the success of this conference since it's hosted by the biggest idiot in the industry.
The idiot who points his traffic to fabulous.com wants to teach anyone how to monetize their traffic ?! Give me a break.
This guy is so fool that he probably couldn't get a direct google or overture deal with his mediocre portfolio.
It seems to be a quick money making scheme - to chaghe anyone $1000-$5000 and has nothing to do with traffic monetizing whatsoever.

The "biggest idiot in the industry" sold MEN.COM for $1,200.000.

I sold $2 000 000 worth of domains in the last 500 days.
Does it make me smart? My buyers are well known and I don't know the buyer of men.com neither do I have any information that would contridict that the transaction was not another BS.

It's as simple as it is: How a guy who claims to be DOMAIN KING uses fabulous for traffic monetizing when the biggest players on the field have direct google and overture deals. Ad this guy wants to teach you how to monetize traffic. I think he should know more how to burn bridges and fail for bancruptcy than how to make the most of your traffic.

The second thing is the reason behind a small crook calling himself Domain Kind when he is most likely not even among 100 biggest players, if not 1000.

The third thing is why they are trying to charge you $1000-$5000?

Blink,
Re: men.com , I do know the buyers personally and met them. Real people, top notch.
Regarding Fab, people have different reason why they use them and not others. It is not always about the bottom line as you will find out in this game with a little more experience. Relationships matters.
What else.. we had a convention in LA two years ago which was quite amazing. Many people who came consider it to be the best of the best. The people who will come to this one are also some of the top people in the biz.
I can understand you don't like Rick, and that's cool with me.. but many others who are coming are not coming because of Rick, they come because they wish to learn and make good connections with others.
the big picture is this.. Rick is organizing this convention however, it is about the PEOPLE who come, join, and share, and definitely NOT about Rick.

Basically so they can only allow the "good-ole" boys to attend the conference instead of normal people like you and I....oh and also to pay for their extravagent guest speakers like Ben Stein. Is this how they recruit for the secret club I keep hearing about? Dnjournal probably will cover the conference so I look forward to hearing about it that way since I cannot afford to go....

Which is why I think we should all put together a real open domain conference in Atlanta, GA
....anyone else interested PM me.

A g r e e t h a t n e t w o r k i n g i s b e n e f i c i a l but networking with the right people!

The thing is

1) It is not about Rick but "register" page is 100% about Rick and his board only.

2) Altho $1000-$5000 is not that big money, buy what player big or small will want to pay it knowing they will likely not get what is being advertised?
Again, what a crook who sends traffic to fabulous.com can teach you? I have nothing against fabulous.com, they are a nice company but they are non-competitive when we compare them to google and/or overture.

3) Who will come to the conference when such a jackass hostes it? Tell me who? I can bet $10 000 that you will not see 5% of top 100 players there.

4) This is business, not personal. Not personal. Not personal. Only an idiot would want to personolize a business conference. Take a look at register page http://www.targetedtraffic.com/register.html
It comes out that if you are not a member of Rick's personal board, you should pay 5 times more than if you are a member of his board where if you you want to becomea member you will need to demonstrate loyalty to someone you have no respect to and who is a totally crooked jackass.

This conferrence seems to be a private party of Rick "the King" with a party ticket ranging from $1000 - $5000. He probably thinks he is Madonna or Britney Spears. There'll benothing to see, I bet and since it's a personal party, forget the business.

IMO, the reason Domain King arouses such extreme negative views is his alleged very heavy handed criticism of many old erealestate board members and his alleged exremely crude and alleged ongoing obscene language on his public board several yrs ago toward board members who (allegedly) disagreed with him on certain issues. Often (allegedly) he called them every 4 letter word in the book, all said on a public forum board at the time (which I understand is not public any more). Plus, the fact so many of his best names are said to be high traffic porn names does not help his reputation.

The above views do not detract from his incredible domain portfolio and great success in generating income, combined with his pioneering work and great knowledge of type-in traffic, being the #1 type-in traffic guru when most of us did not even know what a type-in even was some yrs ago.

P.S. Please note Howard is believed to be Domain King's Attorney.

It is alleged that realnames is not his real name. This is not a fact, of course, but it does suggest that there is some truth in the aforementioned allegations. Please note that comments made here carry the disclaimer that this post is purely ficticious and makes no reference, explicitly, implicitly and otherwise, to any person dead, living or somewhere in between :-D
