I recieved an email yesterday from somebody interested in buying the name TalkPS3.com. They asked me how much I would sell it for. I know right now this name isnt worth that much, as the Playstation 3 wont be released for another 1 - 2 years. But I would like to get your opinions on how much the name might be worth.

Uses:
It could be used as a hub message board for a Playstation 3 network.
or
A PS3 Chatroom.. maybe.

If you had no plans to develop it yourself, then I'd probably take anything over $50-$100

Thanks BLaZeD for the appraisal. I was thinking about developing it, it'll be worth far more in 2 years.

It will be worth a lot more as the time comes. I run a gaming site, I'd say you should try for around $100 if you're gonna sell just for the future. Of course, if for some odd reason sony ditches the playstation idea and renames it then you're stuck.

Yeh I am screwed then. I invested alot in playstation 3 names.

I have one or two ps3 domains myself. To most people they are worthless at the moment, but considering someone has contacted you about buying it, tells me they are trying to get a jump on the rest of us, and probably are looking to develop. I would definately tell them $100-150, to see if they buy, or counter offer.
