...I´ve sold "HostingService.com" for a good amount.


I want to thank all the guys that helped with their advises, specially to gregr and DNpowerful (guru, thanks for your patience!).

Following some of the suggestions I have on e-mail, and the advises from members on the DNForum chat, I contacted a Hosting company last day (an adult hosting company), and today I got on e-mail a very good offer from them (thousands of $ + a 3 letter dot com). I´ve accepted that offer.

Money is on the way, and the 3 letter dot com is being transfered to me.

I love this community. Is the second time I have good news from this place (the first one was for a domain acquisition)

Krisblade, for the benefit of the community here, would it be asking too much to ask if you could post a few key sentences from your first e-mail to the hosting company? (Of course leave out any confidential bits like the firm’s name and prices).

The reason I ask is that I understand it’s important to convey in the first contact the fact that you’re not spamming the company, but have something of mutual benefit to discuss, and you have come up with the right way
