I think the question was clear, but none of the naswers were.

So, I'll try to answer.

It is getting more popular, but i dont think you are going to get type in traffic like .com
People in the US are getting used to it more, but it is still years away from reaching what .com is today in acceptance for type ins and traffic revenue.

No I don't type in .us.
I would be surprised if the general public did start to.

the only .ca I type in is: tsn.ca - my homepage...

.ca is pretty limited up here, most people in the US think it stands for California

US sites are for development not type-ins

.COM is king for type-ins & development.

If you are an end-user buy a .US if you cannot get the .COM
If you are reseller then don't plan on making much money right now with traffic.

Definitely disagree. .CA gets Canadian type ins. However I don't really invest in .ca.

I still have to think about typing sedo.us vs. sedo.com

Sedo.us did very well for awhile.

wether we like it or not, .com is the king of traffic.
I personally prefer .info for almost anything internet related as for me the internet=information, but for traffic...

Also, last night I watched a movie on TV called 'Canadian Bacon' If you guys havent seen it, it is definately worth it, it was amazing!
It is an older movie though.

An(other) example:
I just typed in humancannonball.us because I saw the guy perform tonight and his cannon (very loud, btw!) listed his website in big bold letters on its side. My guess is more people check out his site after seeing his webaddress that way.

Cheers,
Rob
