covers it all for voip!

a cover story about voip in this past sundays 'chicago tribune' business section.
quite a few companies are making some big investments for the future, for this means of communication.

i have a couple of "voip" related names as well.

good luck!

Larry - What a great domain. VoIP service is about to experience a tremendous rollout by a number of telecom's in the next year.

I believe I would be making phone calls and soliciting the interest of the big VoIP players (Vonage, Verizon, SBC, etc.). It will be hard to get their attention. Let 'em know you intend to sell soon. You might consider an established domain broker like Monte Cahn of Moniker.com to aid you in promoting the sale of the domain. An asking price of $10,000 to $25,000 is entirely reasonable in my opinion, maybe higher. Good luck.

P.S. You don't happen to have RFID.com do ya?

A long time ago I was going to list my names at Monte's DomainSystems.com but they wanted me to switch DNS, etc.... . I really didn't like that and see that they still require it. I have other high value names as well and have considered a broker but I truly wonder if they really try to sell the name. I should put more of an effort on my own end.

I do need to start at least listing all of my names at Afternic & Sedo again ( a handful I have at Sedo at the moment) which may help out. I used to sell a lot of my names by being listed at the broker sites. I was going to submit VoIPService.com to GreatDomains.com but have decided since GD decided not to list my WeightlossProgram.com that they really are a little clueless on domain values lately. I found it pretty silly since GD sold Weightloss.com for probably around a million bucks and I have had a fair number of 5 figure offers already for the name.

Anyways - as you have stated - VoIPService.com is definitely a high 5 figure value name IMO as well. No RFID names for me ... yet.

I've had similar thoughts about GreatDomains.com. Recently inquired as to whether they attempt other marketing aside from promotion on their website. They replied that in fact they don't. I have Houston.TV there with not much luck yet. Figured it was worth a try. They declined several other of my doms as well.

I've had only brief email contact with Monte of Domain Systems, but he is responsive and always professional. I had approached him to help me with 'Facts.info'. He is building a solid record of successful sales in the Domain Industry. Perhaps in due time a good end-user opportunity will present itself. I believe the DNS switch Monte requires offers him accurate type-in stats which he then uses to help demonstrate a dom's traffic pulling potential to buyer/end-users.

I have been quite enthusiastic about VoIP, RFID, and Linux emerging this year as great technologies and potential investments. VoIP seems to be out front. Which made your domain name stand out. LOL - Yeah, those 2-digit offers just come with the territory I guess.
