webmail which displays Japanese characters

I need a webmail program which is able to display Japanese characters correctly.

I currently use the standard neomail/uebimiau webmail scripts from cpanel, however, these scripts can't display the chars correctly, even if I choose the correct character encoding for Japanese.

To the asian ppl on this forum: What webmail program do you use on your servers and how do you make the chars readable?

To everyone: Does any1 have an idea which webmail script could do that job correctly?

I did that...but NS/MSIE just show some Japanese junk while reading my email with neomail, therefore I need something that is really going to work.

hmmm that is interesting. I am using version 1.25.
Actually, my gf needs that Japanese stuff and she was complaining that she can't read that kind of email...but also when I looked at the mail, I felt that it doesn't really look that way it should look...maybe I should give her a crash course in character encoding or download some newer plug-ins....
