We may possibly put our entire collection up for auction if we can't find a buyer. It consists of 293 QUALITY domain names as seen at:
shortdomains.com

Many of you have seen or even purchased our names in the past. We've averaged about $3k-5k per domain in the past 2 years. Let me know what you think the entire collection is worth. Many Thanks!

in reality, and in today's market, I think you'll be doing well to get this lot much over four figures.

$5,000-$10,000 maybe. But I don't see anyone on these forums going above that.

WebHangout.com $x,xxx
iNotebook.com
Mpegs.net
Hang.net
iEstates.com
iGoodies.com
JustCams.com
MessedUp.com

I'd value these and some adult ones at high $xxx, quite a few low $xxx.
If you're getting regular $3K offers keep at it, that's end user prices.

$5K for the traffic names, $5K for the best 20 names and $2K for the remainder.
Reseller $12K

I'm interested in iwars.com PM me a price.

Too bad you have so many "i" names vs "e" names. Several yrs ago the i and e names were valued approx' the same, and both low and not in demand at all. However, there has been an amazing surge in e name values, likely due to all the high profile e website marketing, i.e. eloan.com and many others. It seems i's may be valued about the same as they were yrs ago whereas e's have skyrocketed.

One other comment is that sometimes short is not always the best. Another surge in value is with well targeted real-words, real-terms, long domains, many of which have gone way up more in value vs the price increase of similar shorter domains.

Just my opinions on i/e names and long domains, I may be wrong of course.

i names are dropping like flies at the moment, interested to see your sales list of names that went for 3-5K.

If it was possible to get a buyer for all you may be lucky at around 10-15K

You better sell them one at a time and not here...

This is a wholesale outlet. I sold after a year iLottery.net A great name for change. the market is far from back. I think it's a joke selling names just to keep other's current.
Spend the money to reg all of them for five year's and forget them until them. Most of these guys will be gone and you'll find the buyer's you need. The domain names are worth 50000 min don't sell your self short.

I think you are kidding yourself if you think anyone will pay anything close to what you want for the lot. Those enduser prices you claim to get are, by their nature, going to be few and far between. If you want to keep getting them, that means you gotta be the one doing the work to get them sold.

I agree - keep selling them one at a time, as you locate buyers. The traffic stats look good enough that Adsense or some affiliate programs should be generating revenue for you on the hits...???

Just saw a commercial for eHarmony.com - more and more of the companies that got the e domain of their industry are starting to surface with developed sites and businesses.

Back to the topic, I think that lot is a fantastic collection.
Could sell as a lot for 20-40K+ in todays market. Who knows?

I definitely think the collection is worth at least $50k ($170/domain), regardless of what some have valued them at. We'll list some more information on the site by listing previous sales which resulted with absolutely no marketing efforts (simply maintaining the site).

Regardless, I appreciate the appraisals, and what this board has to offer. Thanks again.

Yea, I think this should be in the sales forum.

I'm never one to be the forum commando, but this is the appraisal forum!

Thoughts?
