Ok folks, I have to say, this was one of the greatest business news I ever got! I just got russianmusic.com a domain that had $2K bid on namewinner and was snapped. Who got it for me ? ENom !!! After getting only crap, they finaly delivered what was expected. Big thanks to Enom !!!!

ahh. well, either way it's less than working directly with a registrar
and it should pay off for itself (with names such as this one).

to someone who is russian it's a great name.

you may not understand it, but russian-americans (especially
those born and/or raised here) are more likely to type in
russianmusic rather than whatever that would be
in russian (since some of their letters would yield invalid
slds).

high typeins. not super high, but pretty damn good.

Yakov,

Congratulations on getting the name you wanted.

See, how one day made a world of difference on your opinion of Enom.

So, are you dropping your Enom Drop Club membership?

mostly common sense. i interact with a lot of europeans so i know
how they think.

overture numbers for that domain are decent. 130+ for domain
and 6k+ for the two words.

i've got a domain with 1.2k overutre for domain and 193k for the
two terms. overture numbers are a pretty decent indicator of
overall typins, if used with some common sense.

russianmusic.com is the first thing any russian-speaking folk would type when looking for russian music online, that's why.

Probably, cause more and more folks join enom, so reducing your odds for getting any good domain. If they limited the number of members, I would stay.

i doubt russian-americans even know of .ru, at least not the
teen-mid twenty year olds who would actually type in russianmusic.tld

Aren't those t.A.t.U. girls Russian? They're probably boosting interest in Russian music.

They've got a great marketing plan, if I've ever seen one. Two cute girls who sing and make out on stage = lots of records sold.

Good for you Yakov. A good name doesn't always have to have an "American" flavor. I'm sure if I were russian, and were fluent in english, I just might try "RussianMusic.com"...

btw: Not to change the subject, but I found out that the english word "Algebra" is the same in Russian.

Adds value to my "Algebra.us" :D
