Indeed, $40 is the highest 'official' offer (i.e. one posted in this thread), so it only makes sense that that is the starting point here; i.e. the next offer would need to be at least $45.

But OK, I have now specifically worded it like that in my previous post, in case it wasn't clear.
BTW,
maximumhost and everyone else, this sale goes by the timestamp as 'provided by this forum', not by what our computers tell us what time it is. I.e. 12 pm
Forum time (based on the EST timezone). It seems the forum time is about 10 mins behind the actual time (i.e. my computer shows the correct time but the forum seems to be a bit behind). So as I am EDITING this post again, approx. 40 mins to go before this ends!!
Now, in case of a 'tie' (i.e. two or more
equal 'highest offers' posted at what appears* to be the exact same time), the
first one to post (timestamp DNForum time, based on EST timezone!) his/her highest offer wins!
If however two or more offers are made at what appears* to be the exact same time but one offer is higher/highest, then that very
highest offer wins!
Phew! :-D
Best,
Rob
*since this forum only shows minutes, not seconds, in its timestamp)
