Turkey - No potential for those things , time to develop. I don't even have time to develop my personal site (its one page)
I'm going to school and after school i check mails , send emails and my whole time is gone

You want us to believe that you bought a top tier domain name, registered in 1994 (when you were 10 years old) - and you bought it without a credit card.

I am not saying that you obtained it in some odd manner - your own words say it.

I think we need GeorgeK in this, he's experienced with uncovering similar projects.

Ok I'll give you $2K for crap.com then, if it's not hot property. :)

I consider crap.com to be hot goods. It doesn't take an Agatha Christie to cry "murder" in this case - and the butler didn't do it, BTW :D

Ok i got an offer yesterday at 3k but i didn't accept it :(
If i check the appraisals people say about this dn
fizz : That's right, this is an appraisal thread. I'd value crap.com at 14-17K.
And on a light-hearted note, some may find the following enlightening:
http://www.thomascrapper.co.uk/history05.htm

mudfence : LOL...what a name
I don't see any commercial use.
As said above it is very memorable.
$1500-$7000

-RJ- :
$6000 to $9000

Great vanity name. Good luck with the sale!

cjmacd :
It sounds like an entertainment site to me

you all remember doodie.com

still crap.com could be branded as the portal to hilarious things like cows mounting one another and slipping on the ice or seeing a triple flip motocross crash vid.. basically just .. crap.

I know I would go it ... but that's just me

as a possibility to be a good entertainment site

10G - 20G+

nice name

I doubt you would get much on eBay email owners of similar names and see if you get a bite

DrWho :
What a crappy name!!!

$20k~$35k

newnoy :
short great name. 10k up

Sharpy :
High Retail: $10,000
Low Retail: $7,500
Wholesale: $3,750

kvinsencius :
A very memorable domain. I would say around $2,500 wholesale and $5k+ retail.

Good Luck!

Traffic Monster :
Ebay is a crappy place to sell a valuable domain, IMO.

Start from a fertilizer producer's union or group, a fertilizer supplier or equipment manufacturer. If you need a gas mask during your networking in the ..crapping field, I do have one for sale on Ebay with a whole bunch of other crap too..

Good luck $10K-$15k

Name-Maker :
Smells like a discount auction site to me.... in this economy 5 - 10K.

--------------------
so here are the appraisals how much should i sell it for ?

stuff

Appraisals mean nothing if you can't prove how & when you got the domain.

By avoiding to give a direct answer you only increase the negative predisposition.

Actually, no. Care to enlighten us about the following:

1. When did you buy it?
2. From whom?
3. How did you pay for it if you are in Turkey and have no credit card. The previous owner was clearly American and I doubt he'd accept cash in the mail.

--------------------
Read it carefully I said i have the right to use or own a credit card so that would mean i have a credit card right ?
If i have my own enom so i would have paid for that too right ?
-------------------- that was about having a credit card but i used wire by using the bank Yapi Kredi in turkey
I bought it 2 weeks ago. Price : Secret (sorry but so!)

Ok 3.5K with the same hot property stipulation. :)

You must not go back to the Afternic days. Appraisers dream of high prices. If crap.com goes for a high price then their crap might go for high prices. :)

Ok, I don't mean to pile on here (especially since I'm a newbie myself) but I'm a little confused. You own a credit card now, but HOW did you buy this domain name when you were 10? My daughter is 11, so I'm trying to picture her last year going online and buying a domain name like CRAP.com...I just can't see it.

As I recall, Network Solutions was the only registrar back in 1994 and I don't think they'd launched WorldNIC yet. That means you had to write a check. Who signed it? You weren't old enough. I mean, that must have been a heck of an adventure, dealing with temlates and everything, as I'm not even sure NSI had launched the InterNIC.net website yet (I may be mistaken on this point, as I wasn't really a World Wide Web surfer then...I was still in school using Gopher).

I'm sure it would put everyone's minds at ease if you'd share the details of your adventure with us. It just all seems to be very enterprising for a 10 year old kid.

Still no answers :D

Greg, it doesn't matter if you offered turkiye.com in exchange for crap.com

It's evident that the intention is a quick sale to 'move' the domain. I have no doubt left that it was acquired without a legitimate financial transaction and therefore ANY financial offer to the current holder is a good offer. The $3k - $15k is just ...crap :D

Sticks, I know English isn't your main language, so I will translate the past larger posts:

1) You are 19 now, right?

2) You have an old 6 digit ICQ number, which has got to be 5-6 years old, right?

3) So that means you got that ICQ number when you were 13-14, right?

4) You bought the domain name, crap.com in 1994, right?

5) So that means you were 12 years old when you bought the name, right?

6) So, how did you buy the name, when you were 12 years old?

You seem to have forgotton the most realistic appraisal:

"2k-3K range.... mostly just juveniles are going to be typing in "crap" .. no product or service you can really advertise...
2-3 k simply for vanity... and a few hundred monthly type-ins"
