Verisign's Global Name Collision Contest has concluded.
Versign has done Due Diligence.
It is now safe for Verisign's CTO Burt Kaliski to roll out specific IDN .COM TLD`s with
Transliterations.
I think when all is said and done, Burt will get the opportunity to show the rest of the world
how IDN's were supposed to be implemented in the first place.
(possible the longest running software conversion project in history - started over 14 years ago by the IETF)
He also will gain a lot of well deserved credit for his cautious GTLD implementation approach from the Domain
community and DNS engineers in the process.
