Maybe in the fantasy land of Europe they do, I don't know, but here in wild west of the US Visa and Mastercard might as well be considered third world services that aid thieves every whim.
Maybe you are considering doing it yourself, because you are European and are used to the Euro ways of doing things. (And for other Euros reading, I'd love to know how this differs over there -- I know Paypal gives users drastically more rights in Europe, which is always a shock to an American)

If you or your buyers are penny pinchers, you may want to give Transpact.com a try. I've been seeing more people talk about them the past year, and have been thinking of giving them a shot. They're the only competitor to escrow.com that seems to be worth a look. They have arguably the lowest rates anywhere, yet they seem to be legitimate. They are also European, so maybe it'll make more sense for you overall.
People who like more of a paypal oriented flow seem to like ecop, but they look more expensive to me that escrow.com, so I don't personally understand the advantage. Maybe someone else can chime in.
