I was thinking 25K-30K, I have a similar domain and the offers I was getting from resellers was in this range.

Anyone want to bet on which horse takes it? I'm going with halvarez, he's going to bust out late in the final lap (hey, how come that horse never has a jockey?). :D

we can make a fair speculation that this is not unique--- that a large % of names throughout the industry have been vastly overinflated on subsequent sales following a shill bidding Snapnames/Halvarez sale.

What was the bidding on raspberry.com before halvarez's bid?

He was never a bidder in this auction besides the $59 minimum..lke many of the auctions he woud take place in.

This was simply the market catching up to a good generic. Sold earlier this year for $16K and everyone was screaming that was too much while I was saying that was a bargain.

Even at $27K, this was a good buy - Perhaps the top of the dollar range but still a good buy.
