FLASH. The agreed amount was $4200. As you are aware Escrow doesn't have a CAD option, and we never discussed an exchange, they never have had that option. USD was implied. You cancelled the transaction not me. I will take 4200USD, but not from you. good luck!

Someone is not being honest and a difference of $4200 and $2900 based on a current exchange rate of roughly 10% does not account for $1300 either, neither does adding HST as well so....

Best luck to you both but unless one of you has proof, both of your reputations don't look so good.

This transaction has been cancelled.
- The Buyer has cancelled this transaction for the following reason: we did not agree on this price to be in USD. To be paid in usd, then the selling price is $3,785.00

So basically you did agree upon $2900 but once you factored in the exchange rate and added on the HST you came to $3785, correct?

If so, it is merely a matter of miscommunication, no harm was intended. The buyer was getting a good price at even $3785 and to let it go over 10%+/- is too bad.

Best to you both and remember, no one ment to harm anyone, just a miscommunication, it happens, take a deep breath and close it guys!

The price was 4200 (i do see now he had cnd in the email - i missed it :/ - my bad) no mention of HST in any deal. I simply put it through Escrow at 4200, buyer pays fees. If he wasn't such an a** in previous emails I probably would have changed it to 3875. Forget him. It brings a smirk to my face how many hide behind email/web with tough tones and pointedness from the safety of their bedroom computer desk. Maybe I'll send Flash my TRS80 and Vic20 as a bonus should he come around ;)
