So you got the dreaded Cease and Desist letter. You think it may be a blessing in disguise and that they must want your domain name, and perhaps are willing to pay some money for it.

You want to show your good faith before and after registering it, it is a borderline case after all, so how do you say:

"Sorry for the confusion. If you want this name here and now pay up or I we could go through the process and you may never get it since I was in good faith, I can prove this; and your case is weak according to the facts."

Can someone help with the wording?

A good start would be to take out the word "confusion"
