I was looking for a domain for my fishing site and the most searched phrase is "bass pro shop". I just searched it for the heck of it and the .info was available so I took it. Would I be able to put some content on it and a link to my site just to use it for SEO or can I not use it at all?

Just go ahead and delete it; not worth the stress and potential legalities. It might also be relevant to know the new trend is to bypass UDRPs and go straight for federal court (where judgements/damages can be much higher).
